SSD Flashback Friday - Garter Sassy

Happy Friday!  I'm so excited for the weekend - and the whole week actually as I'm on vacation and plan on spending a lot of time colouring!

This week SSD is featuring the beautiful and ever sexy Garter Sassy, so pick her up for a special sale price.  I love her!  I had a favourite pic of my putting the garter on my best friend while we got ready for her wedding, so I used this gal to create a layout with that picture.

SSD New Release - SentiMints

Hi Everyone
Well it's late here....like really late.  I had a great night out with friends, got home all ready for bed, and went "uh oh....my card is supposed to go live in two hours!!!".

Luckily for me SSD images are so easy to work with they practically create the cards all one their own.  Between the cute images, and these brand new SentiMints, I was able to put this together in under an hour!  Sometimes a cute phrase is all you need to pull it together.

Here I used Madam Honey with the Sentimint "Longer You Live".  I coloured her with Copics, and added some Liquid Glass to her crystal ball to make it stand out.

Happy 5th Birthday Sassy Studio Designs!!!

Hi everyone!
I'm not sure about you, but when the beautiful weather comes I tend to craft less.  It's hard to stay inside when it's so beautiful outside!  Especially here in Ontario when we need to take advantage of the few short warm months we get.

I used the image Princess.  I fell in love with the expression on her face.  And the feathers in her hair inspired me to use them on the card too.

Time for Tea!

Good morning everyone!
Design team work keeps me busy, but every once in a while I create something else that I want to share.

My good friend decided she wanted a themed birthday party. She's that one friend (hopefully) everyone has that goes out of her way to make sure other people's days are special, so everyone was excited to play along for her.  We all dressed like characters from Downton Abbey, and we had a magical tea party in her backyard. She hung teacups from the trees, set up all sorts of Alice in Wonderland type props, played 1920's music .... it was perfect!

When I saw the Saturated Canary image "Teacups"  I knew it was meant for her! Here's what I created.

For the inside of the card I used a cutting file from the Silhouete online shop to do some pop-up teacups.

SSD Flashback Friday - Bella Bride

Happy Friday everyone!  Ok...it's Monday.  But my Blogger was acting up.  GRRR.

You're not too late to get the Flashback Friday sale though at Sassy Studio Designs.  Bella Bride's on sale until this coming Thursday.

It's wedding season and you're sure to get plenty of use out of this one.  I love that she's very easy to colour but looks so refined.
