TSC - Wild Thing

Hi everyone!
The past two weeks went by so quickly!  I've done a lot of card making since we didn't exactly get a lot of summer :(
The great part is I'm having fun with these The Stamping Chef images!  I find myself falling asleep at night thinking about which one to work on next!

This week I worked with Better than Tarzan

I knew I wanted to give her some animal print outfit, but had already coloured her skin and hair and didn't want to risk ruining it.  For the first time ever I did some paper piecing and I'm really happy with how it turned out!  I used my T02 and T04 copics to add some shading to the patterned paper and I think it really fit well!

Tamara's been a whirlwind creating lots of new images lately, so if you haven't visited the store in a while you really should!  And don't forget the theme is always Anything Goes as the challenge so be sure to enter for your chance to win awesome images!

AAAAND, there's still a little bit of time left if you want to give the Artist a go - you could be featured as the new look for TSC!
Thanks for looking and have a great week!

DTBST - Create the paper

Hi everyone!
Time for another Dare to be Sassy Thursday challenge!  This week the challenge is to create at least one piece of your own paper.

I used Goldilocks Honey (retired image) for this week's challenge.

The paper I made myself is the one the image is matted on.  I opened my Cuttlebug folder and used pink ink on the raised portion.  When the image embossed, it coloured pink inside all the recessed parts.

Each DT member came up with their own paper, so please visit Sassy Studio Design's blog to get ideas and show us your own creations!

My first Stamping Chef DT post!

Happy Hump day!
Hope you're having a wonderfully crafty week!  I'm very excited to be part of my first DT challenge over at The Stamping Chef challenge blog!
The challenge (as always) is 'Anything Goes'.  Who doesn't love that?

This week I worked with the super cute Barn Brat and added my own sentiment.
She's coloured with Copics and I used some discontinued paper and stickers from Close to My Heart.

Take note of my new watermark, too!!  Can you see the little meerkat?  Tamara, the awesome designer at TSC made it for me.  She does custom watermarks; visit the store!

One more thing before I go....The Stamping Chef is looking for a new image.  There's a super fun competition going on. And as if you needed more motivation, you could win a free Kit and Clowder class!  Details below, and pick up The Artist here.

Look forward to seeing your creations, and have a great week!

JIC and TSC - Exciting news!

Hello!
I have been BURSTING to share my good news.  I've been invited to join the DT at The Stamping Chef!!!
Once in a while I've posted a card on FB using one of these super cheeky images, and I'm always being asked who drew it.  For those who aren't familiar with TSC, you HAVE to check out these images.  There's nothing else like them!

I've had this image a long time without using her, so I'm sorry to say she's retired.  However there is DIY Dayna who has a similar theme.

It's Anything Goes for the month of August over at Just Inspirational Challenges, so this worked out perfectly!

We have some fantastic sponsors for the month too..

Please enter your makes for the month and check out the awesome cards the rest of the DT came up with over on the JIC blog

A couple weeks ago I also made up this card using TSC's Culinary Claire.
Thanks for looking and be sure to check back soon for more TSC cards!
